It has been recognised for its high standards of quality and flavour. Since 2002 it has been part of the Dehesas de Sierra Morena Biosphere Reserve.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Depending on the altitude, we will see large expanses of holm oak pastureland, areas with cork oaks and gall oaks in the shaded slopes and valleys, and chestnut forests in the higher, colder areas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visiting the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche has a special charm at any time of year, thanks to the richness of its landscapes of holm oak and cork oak dehesas, chestnut forests and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">riparian woodlands; as well as for the quality of its gastronomic products, including the Iberian bellota ham from the Jabugo Protected Designation of Origin.
